Giving in memory of someone special is a meaningful way to pay tribute to a loved one – honouring their life and helping others at the same time. We’re always incredibly touched and grateful to receive these donations.

To make a donation in memory of someone, please visit our Donate to Us page. You simply need to add the name of the person for whom you are making an online In Memory donation in the message section or advise in an accompanying letter if you would prefer to send a cheque.

You may consider setting up a regular giving arrangement to donate annually, perhaps marking a special date in your loved one’s life.

Friends and families often choose to honour the memory of a loved one by making donations to support the hospital generally or often raising funds to support the hospital ward or department that provided the care.

Asking friends and family to donate in lieu of flowers at a funeral is a lasting and meaningful way to remember the person you have lost.

You could create a personalised in memory fundraising page that acts as a tribute to their life – where friends can share memories and make a donation using one of the links below: – choosing ‘Remembering someone’ option. – choose to add Royal Berks Charity to your tribute which enables family and friends to donate to our charity. – Memory Giving can set up a donation page for your loved one when your appointed funeral director is not already using their service. Please check with your funeral director.

We hope that in this difficult time the positive action of donating and helping to make a difference for other patients is of some comfort to you and your family.

We are really grateful for this support during such an emotional time.

If you would like more information on making an in memory donation, please drop us a line at or give us a call on 0118 322 7962 or 0118 322 8860.
