Celebrating the NHS at the Platinum Jubilee

As part of Her Majesty The Queen’s historic Platinum Jubilee celebrations you will have seen, or at least heard about, the BBC’s ‘Platinum Party at the Palace ’ concert will took place in front of Buckingham Palace on Saturday 4th June.

As a member of NHS Charities Together we were delighted to hear that there was an allocated mix of seated and standing tickets for the event, due to the Royal Patronage of TRHs The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Royal Berks Charity were lucky enough to be offered one pair of these very special tickets. To make it fair, the Royal Berks charity took the names of all shortlisted nominees unable to attend their CARE Awards and put them into a random draw.

Lucky winner, Dr Hannah Johnson, Consultant Physician in Elderly Care Medicine said “The jubilee concert was brilliant. I felt very lucky to have been there – it felt like a real celebration. I have never waved a flag so much and was singing my heart out!”

Congratulations on winning the tickets Hannah, we’re so glad you had such an amazing time not only celebrating the Queen, but also celebrating the NHS.
