On Sunday 24th September over 200 walkers and their dogs took part in our annual Walk for Wards event at Mapledurham Estate.
With a new, 15km route, walkers left the event village and rambled around the beautiful British countryside, taking in views of the River Thames, a couple of hills (sorry about those), and the equally as lovely, Herdwick Estate.
So far, the event has raised in excess of £7,000 with money still coming in from supporters who took part.
As with previous years, this event wouldn’t be what it is without the support of Chancellors Estate Agents who sponsored the event, the array of stallholders who came along on the day and the incredible people who took on the challenge.
Kate Martin, Corporate Fundraising Manager commented “As a team we want to thank the Chancellors team for their ongoing support for our flagship event Walk for Wards. Their sponsorship means that as much money raised on the day as possible can go towards supporting projects at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. We are already looking forward to next year and how we can make it a bigger and better event to celebrate its 10th year!”
We look forward to seeing new and familiar faces back at Mapledurham on Sunday 29th September 2024 – tickets coming soon!
